WELCOME TO MY SITE

Welcome to Whittaker Racing, My name is Charles Whittaker (twitter: @arkle1966) and along with my wife Hayley we train racehorses under permit from a small yard based near Frome in Somerset.

I started out with two Pointers trained around a field, winning a Novice rider point to point race with my first runner in February 2010. To currently training from a converted dairy farm with excellent facilities, gaining my permit for the 2013/14 season and having three winners and a further six placed from just twelve runners that season was great. Our current tally is 21 winners. Our target every year is to get each horse to win a race at their level. Be it a young horse gaining that first handicap mark around the courses of the south west or a old chaser with foxhunter dreams.

My aim is to take fit, healthy and content horses to the races and hopefully the results will follow. Please enjoy the website and if want any further information please get in touch.
